These are the Medic “Out Riders” that we use to escort the Rickshaw from start to finish. They are the guys who have to protect the convoy and make sure that all other road users are aware of what's coming towards them, or indeed, happening in front of them.

There’s been a couple of occasions where having the medics in the convoy has been a benefit for the places we have ridden through more than the Rickshaw. The guys have had to assist people we have passed from a fall to a road traffic incident – and a serious one at that.

They’re always bang on it and good company.
