Blog

imageAs the website has be redeveloped by the guys at delwedd.co.uk I thought I’d start my mini blog with a look back over the past 12 months and, as it’s January, a look ahead to the coming 12 months.

I’ll be updating this blog twice a month throughout the year, with work updates, any kit discoveries and general musings from the sound department.

Last year was a great year with a mix of returning series and new projects.

The returning Series’ of Inside the Factory and Gold Rush took me into Britain’s Biggest brewery, a Swedish forest, to the home of the oldest Pencil factory in the World and to the Canadian wilderness on the hunt for Gold.

Another returning Client took me ringside at the Principality Stadium when Anthony Joshua took another step to Unifying the Heavyweight Division when he beat Joseph Parker on points.

“Back in time to the Factory”, as well as being the logistical and technical sound challenge of the year, took us back to the 70’s & 80’s at Valley Wear in the Rhondda Valley to see what women had to deal with when it came to pay discrimination and the attitudes in the work place.

And “Diva Espania” can only be described as an experience, on a lot of levels.

2019, starts with series 5 of inside the factory, its going to be a busy January following Gregg around seeing how some of Britain’s favourite products are made.
